[so the video clicks on, and Watanuki looks slightly annoyed. Nothing seems out of the ordinary yet, though.]

Timothy, I think we're going to have to make sure your dog doesn't go into my room. There's a little-

[and suddenly a yellow fuzzy snake thing hops out from behind the lamp shade and dives down the back of Watanuki's shirt. Watanuki is very obviously being tickled by the snake-thing crawling around in his shirt, as he's flailing like mad while laughing. After a few seconds he manages to grab the animal, and he pulls it out and holds it up in front of his face.]

You again! I told you to wait!

[the thing doesn't seem to care too much, though, as it starts nuzzling against Watanuki's forehead and making little happy noises. If it could make sparkly hearts in real life, it would be doing so right now. Watanuki sighs and lets go, and the thing settles down onto Watanuki's shoulders. But it's still being incredibly 'close' with Watanuki.]

As I was saying, we have a dog and a cat in this house, so we're going to have to take precautions to make sure they don't eat our new guest.

((OOC: So Watanuki pushed the button, and he got Mugetsu. But Mugetsu is lacking pretty much all of his canon powers, so he's stuck in pipefox form.))

[Even as the video clicks on, it's pretty obvious that this is an accidental post, as the device is nowhere near Watanuki. In fact, the boy in question is currently sprawled out on the couch, resting an arm over his eyes. For a few seconds it even looks like he's asleep, but then Doumeki's cat Chiko hops up onto the arm of the couch and starts to bat at one of Watanuki's many stray hairs. At that, Watanuki lifts up his arm and tilts his head back a bit to see what's going on, and he smiles when he sees what it is.]

So you want to play, hmm?

[and then he blows a bit of wind up into his bangs, so that the hair moves a little, and Chiko bats at it again. Watanuki chuckles at that, but he decides that it's better not to get the cat interested in biting his hair, lest he gets pounced on. So instead, while still laying down, he'll reach up and behind his head so that he can wiggle his fingers at Chiko. This interests the cat, who starts sniffing the fingers and licking them.]

Sorry, but I don't know where Doumeki hid all of your toys. You'll have to put up with boring old me today.

[Chiko meows at that, and then she nuzzles against Watanuki's hand so he'll just start petting her.]

Somehow I think this is what you wanted the whole time.

Okay, so first I have weird dreams, and then I keep seeing freaky stuff in cups of water, and NOW I swear I'm seeing shapes in the swill of teacups! Just what in the world is going on here?

Is it safe to come out yet? I'm not leaving until everyone stops acting weird.

Also that BETTER have been a curse, because I know everyone's not that crazy.

((He wasn't affected by yesterday's curse, and he's been hiding to avoid the crazies. Yes, he did hide an extra day. Just to be safe.))

[first a video clip (there to the end of the chapter) plays. Then it goes to Watanuki, who's smiling at watching the clip.]

Aaah, that's Kohane! I haven't seen her in months. I hope she's alright back home, without me there. She did say that she liked living with the elderly fortune teller, so I think she's okay. But I'm surprised, it's been a while since the network did something like that.

[on this fine day, Watanuki and Timothy are out doing the manliest thing ever: shopping. They're just starting, and they have a magic list of stuff to do.]

Okay, everyone at the apartment? I'm going to be out today, so you'll have to make your own lunches. I'll be back to cook dinner, too. Doumeki, yours is in the fridge.

[then he looks like he's going to shut the device off, but he pauses as he looks at the list again.]

Hey, ice cream wasn't on this list! Timothy, did you add this?

[So the device clicks on, and Watanuki is looking into it. He looks confused. Very confused. Also, despite what the icons show, he's wearing his glasses again.]

It looks like I got lost. Could anyone tell me what district I'm in?

I didn't know that daisies could be so chatty. And apparently they don't like being cut and put into a vase on the table. I'm guessing we should use a potted plant from now on.

[it starts out as a voice post, and there is just one long, horrified scream. If any of you are familiar with Watanuki, though, you will notice that the scream is a little higher in pitch then normal.

And then the post clicks over to video, and it's easy to see WHY Watanuki is screaming. The video only shows from the waist up, but it's pretty easy to see that his shirt doesn't quite fit right anymore. Three guesses as to why.]

WHAT THE HELL?! I DON'T EVEN- WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!

I HATE THIS STUPID CITY AAAAGH!

[and in his freaking out he knocks over the table the device is on, so it shuts off for a moment. But then it turns on again a few moments later, and all that anyone can see is from the neck upwards. Because he doesn't want anyone else seeing his 'problems'. Yeah.]

I need some help. Risa, are you busy right now?

[so today in his free time, Watanuki is sewing and patching up clothes. There are quite a few things for him to work on right now, and even though he looks annoyed he's still doing it with love careful hands.]

Geez, you guys mess these things up really quick. Could you try being more careful? Fixing up clothes is one thing, but I can't go making you new clothes all the time if you tear them beyond repair.

[so it's 11:59 PM on the 21st, and Watanuki is going back and forth between watching the clock and watching the door, like he's waiting for something to happen. Then the clock passes midnight, and he waits a good 30 seconds or so before taking in a sharp breath and holding it for a second, and then exhaling shakily, like he's trying to hold back certain emotions.]

It figures.

[then he just flops down on his bed and pulls the pillow over his face.]

[the voice feed kicks on mid-conversation]

I'm only asking because you're good at this. You were the best in school, right?

Yeah. When do you want to start?

We could start today. I've got some free time, and we can sneak off without anyone knowing.

Alright. [cue some rustling, someone retrieving something] Here. Use this.

You have something like this ready right away?

Sure. You have to be prepared here.

...right. Oh, and you better not tell anyone about this! It's embarrassing enough without anyone else knowing.

Man, today just isn't a day for getting anything done. I think I'm just going to relax in the living room for a bit or something. The dishes can wait until later.
